Thus, you can begin working immediately upon completion of the 8 hour training requirement. If you are interested in working as an Armed Security Guard, the duration of this course is 47 hours.

At the ISS Fire Science Institute, we provide a unique bilingual preparation program right here in New York to become a Fire Safety Director.
The ISS Fire Science Institute was created and is authorized by the Fire Department of the City of New York. Upon payment of all the applicable rates, you will have an opportunity to receive up to 20(twenty) school hours to become a Fire Safety Director. Once you become a Fire Safety Director, you will be eligible to find employment in prestigious companies with a possible salary of up to $40,000. Our instructors, all Fire Safety Directors and graduates of The ISS Fire Science Institute, are ready to share their experience with you.
